Gayle and I have been friends for decades (having met through work) and I have always known that her heart is deeply rooted in God, family and music. Because I’m not a listener of “twangy” bluegrass music, I had never watched her perform until I attended Willow Branch’s performance last night at the Carysbrook Performing Arts Center in Fluvanna. It was nothing like I thought it would be...I thoroughly enjoyed every string picked and every tune sung. Willow Branch is as enjoyable to watch as it is to listen. It is obvious that each of the five band members has a love and a joy for making their instruments “talk”. The easy dialogue within the band family as well as with the audience makes the whole performance so cozy and warm; it’s quite mesmerizing…the last set went by so quickly, I wasn’t prepared for their last song. Keep up the great camaraderie; it’s infectious. I will gladly go to another!

The Willow Branch Bluegrass Band made my birthday celebration on October 31 in Charlottesville simply magical! We danced the night away with friends and family and had so much fun. Not only do these folks know how to play music, they play together so well. The dynamics and sound were perfection, each instrument blending perfectly with the next. The vocals were spot on and it is obvious the band members enjoy playing and performing with each other. If you are considering a bluegrass band for your event, book Willow Branch ASAP. This band's music is the perfect backdrop to make your celebration a memory to last forever.

We laugh, cry, clap, rejoice, reflect, then go home so relaxed, happy and content. It is a lot like going to a family reunion. What a delightful way to spend an evening.

Willow Branch performed at our celebration for Jeff's 60th birthday by the James River at Eagle Rock, VA on June 25, 2016. What a great day in the middle of a beautiful country mountain setting with our many friends, family and neighbors, all tapping their feet to the music of Willow Branch. We all grew up on bluegrass and country music and everyone commented on how great Willow Branch performed and how much they enjoyed their music. We look forward to another event so that Willow Branch can entertain us and our "bluegrass lov'in" family, friends and neighbors. "Can't get enough of that bluegrass stuff!"

Professionals in every sense of the word. Outstanding performance at my Dad's 90th birthday party. My dad grew up on Bill Monroe bluegrass and he was blown away, brought to tears, by Willow Branch's performance. Great talent and keeping old bluegrass alive. And their blending of bluegrass and old country music was stellar. Thanks Willow Branch, for an afternoon that my dad (and all the rest of us) will ever cherish.

We appreciate you working with us the way you have and thank you for your "great brand" of bluegrass.
